Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish model and actress. Her debut in a feature film was a tiny role in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). In the following film she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan donavan was part of A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte played Taffin (in 1998) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody was invited by a photographer, and began to model. She then developed her career as a commercial model. Doody did not wear glamour, nudity and thongs when she was modeling. After catching the eye of the casting director for the upcoming James Bond movie, she was cast in A View to a Kill as Jenny Flex. Doody was named one of the 12 most promising actors of the year in 1986 in John Willis Screen World. 38. Doody, at 18-years-old in the role of Doody in Bond, was and is still the most youthful Bond gal to date. A Prayer for the Dying which starred Mickey Rourke also had a performance by Doody, playing IRA Siobhan. Doody was a voice actor in the 1987 TV adaptation of The Secret Garden appearing as Archibald Craven's wife Lilias in the movie of his dreams. The storyteller's episode Sapsorrow was her first leading role. It took place in 1988 with John Hurt, Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. The actress acted alongside Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) before she took possibly her most famous role ever in the role of Austrian Nazi-sympathiser as well as archaeologist the Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade playing opposite Harrison Ford. Doody has been in three films with James Bond actors. Doody costarred with Jonathan Pryce, in the British miniseries Selling Hitler. The series was inspired by the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. After moving to Hollywood Doody was an international star. She was replaced by Cybill Shepherd in the L'Oreal spokesperson character. Doody then appeared as Flannery Sheen's wife and agent alongside Charlie Sheen, as Major League II became available in 1994. Doody was part of the 2002 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine portrayed her at a ceremony for an award. In 2004, Doody starred alongside Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), a pamphlet describing the Holocaust. Doody was a part-time actress in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). She guested in RTE's Medical drama The Clinic. The project was later canceled. The actress began her two seasons on the E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. She also appeared on the show in 2014 as We Still Kill the Old Way. Almeria film award, tierra de cine, and an Almeria walk of fame star were presented on the 21st of November, 2018.
