Beyonce Giselle Knowles, was born
September 4 of 1981 in Houston. Tina Knowles-Lawson, her mom creates their

Breton-, Spanish-, Indonesian- and Chinese roots. The singer has been quoted as
saying that to get over her shyness, she created a stage persona named
"Sasha".
