Evan Rachel Wood

Evan Rachel Wood was conceived in Raleigh, North Carolina on September 7th, 1987. Her father, Ira David Wood III (a actor in the theatre as well as writer and director) is her father. Sara Wood Wood is her mother and an actress. There are two older brothers, Dana Wood, a musician as well as Ira David Wood IV, who also has acted. Evan as well as her brothers appeared in the Theatre In The Park, Raleigh which is where her father is the director. She was just five when she auditioned for the part in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994). She relocated to Los Angeles with her mom and brother Ira in 1996 and has seen success since acting in TV series, TV movies as well as feature films. Her powerful portrayal of Stephanie Rourke's estranged son in Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler (2008) earned the attention of critics. Daughter of Ira David Wood III and Sara Wood. The younger sister to Ira David Wood IV and Dana Wood. She is a dancer who has been trained. She enjoys singing, swimming as well as rollerblade. She also enjoys on horseback.
