Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush, an American pop-punk band was founded in the year 2009. The group consists of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They signed their first contract to Nick Records in 2009 before transferring to Columbia Records. The group was featured on Nickelodeon's television show Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28, 2009 until July 25, 2013. The pilot episode featured the group's debut promo single, "Big Time Rush". Three studio albums were released by the group: BTR in 2010 and Elevate (2011) as well as 24/Seven (2013). In 2014, the band went on an indefinite hiatus that lasted up to 2021. They returned to live performances in the studio, and then came out with "Call It Like It's What It's Like". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush a record agreement in 2009, while also broadcasting the television show Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon collaborated with Columbia/Epic Label Group for production and music that is original. The first single from the group, "Big Time Rush", appeared on the series on the 29th of November, 2009. Officially announced by Nickelodeon in November 2009, the series was aired for the first time in the Americas. It then debuted internationally. It premiered during a special preview of the show. It's currently the show’s opening theme. Promo singles like "City is Ours", "Any Kind of Guy" and many more were released during the show. Big Time Rush also performed the Play song "Famous", which was written by him. It was made available to iTunes on the 29th of June, 2010, The song's second, "Halfway There", was released to iTunes after its debut on the series. The track quickly became the first song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Due to sales on digital platforms the song climbed to number 93. On September 21 on the 21st of September in 2010, Big Time Rush released second single "Till I Forget About You" to celebrate the release of their debut album. On October 11, 2010, the album, called BTR was released to the public. The album was released at number three on the Billboard 200. It sold an initial 67,000 copies.
